The site location is on one of the last remaining undeveloped shorelines of Lake Okoboji in Iowa.  This project focused on community planning that accommodated environmental and recreational needs. A major goal was to balance profit with public green-space. To achieve this, a mix of housing typologies were designed around community green space.  This approach gives the site a diverse range of users and multiple methods of restoration that can be used for recreation and educational purposes.
