This project focused on collaboration with Italian architecture students to revitalize a grey-field site on their campus. Design goals were to reconnect with the river, promote walkability, and connect with existing recreational systems at the river’s edge. Other design goals were to promote outdoor/indoor co-spacial assignment.  Overcoming language, cultural, and technical barriers relating to design process and implementation was a key part of this project. The most efficient way of communication was through sketching ideas rather than talking.
